Just an FYI, Royal Purple isn't the oil you want to use. Case in point. I use to build race motors for bikes including my own. Now after spending 10 grand in motor parts from HRC for my NC30 I used R-P as my oil of choice. When and did 2 track days and then 2 races, changed the oil after each day at the track. Afterwards I pulled the head and to my amazment the crosshatch from honing the cyclenders was almost gone. The shop I worked at also started to see the same thing so we switched oil to redline and never had an issue again. It looks like R-P wears rings and cyc walls down faster than most. I wouldn't touch R-P even if it was the only on the shelf. I have torn motors down with redline that look almost brand new but have 6 months of pounding on them even from daytona. We saw wear from R-P after 3 weekends including chageing the oil each day. Just a FYI.
